Back in July I was scheduled to appear on The Chris Treece Show on Blog Talk Radio. As many of you know, I called in and waited, but the host never arrived.
Whoa!! Where did the time go?? Here I’ve been minding my own business working away on book 3 of the Misfit McCabe series, getting a start on book 4….
Just slightly over a week ago, I went to Glamour Shots to have some pictures taken because I need a professional shot to have made into a poster for the upcoming LA Times Festival of Books, April 24th and 25th at UCLA.
I was given the privilege of reading LK Gardner-Griffie’s new book, Nowhere Feels Like Home, while it was still in its infant stages before publication. I was first introduced to LK’s writing when reading her first book, Misfit McCabe, the first in a series of three books following the teenage days of Katie McCabe.

Yesterday signified day 1 of the last 100 days of 2009. It’s hard to believe we have almost lived through a decade of the new millennium.
I have to be honest, this cover was my biggest obstacle to getting Nowhere Feels Like Home ready for publication. It took me 75% as much time to put it together as it did to write the entire book.
