I've been having a bit of an off week... you know the kind. Nothing really wrong, but not feeling quite 100%, the day job a little tough to take. Yet there were bright spots to the week, like getting a text message from my friends Drew and Branli about getting together for coffee as they passed by my workplace. So not all bad, not all good, just not feeling quite myself.

Help Me Pick My Poster

Just slightly over a week ago, I went to Glamour Shots to have some pictures taken because I need a professional shot to have made into a poster for the upcoming LA Times Festival of Books, April 24th and 25th at UCLA.

Griffie World is the official website of young adult author LK Gardner-Griffie.

Hi ~ Thanks for taking the time to stop by. As it says up above, I’m author LK Gardner-Griffie and I write novels for young adults. On this site you’ll find information about my books, Misfit McCabe and Nowhere Feels Like Home, reviews of my books, reviews I’ve written, information on writing directed toward young writers, and other various things about our life in general (the couch potato section, which is all about college baseball and my weight loss journey right now). I’ll also post videos that I like about books, plus post my book trailers, and any other video that captures my interest.

Check out my blog (link at the top of the page) where you’ll find more specific information about my books, the off-the wall thoughts I have while driving to work, any events that I might be attending, some of my marketing information and articles, and my dog’s blog (Phoenix really is a paw princess), as well as other miscellaneous articles on how my writing is going.

To the right you will see some tabs which give you the information on where to buy my books, the links to my TwitterSisters and where else you might find me visiting around the cyberhood of the internet. You’ll also see the flip books in which you can preview my work and below that is the Misfit McCabe Book Trailer (the trailer for Nowhere Feels Like Home will be coming soon??)

The WITW is MMC link at the top of the page takes you to my traveling book site ( the initials stand for Where in the World is Misfit McCabe). As a way to help promote reading and just because I thought the idea was cool, I created 8 hardbound copies of my first book Misfit McCabe and sent them out across the United States. Each recipient was to read the book, sign the back, and then send it on to someone else. I am tracking all eight copies on the website and posting articles on the locations the book has been to.
