With the advent of Halloween, the holiday season is upon us and another year is winding quickly to a close. I have FINALLY done what I should have done ages ago and added the ability to purchase books directly from my website.
Excitement fills the air as a multitude of writing hopefuls get ready for the mad dash of words November brings. For the uninitiated NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month and the basic idea is to start writing a novel on November 1st and have completed 50,000 words by the conclusion of November 30th.
My friend, and fellow Bling Babe, Carolina Valdez Miller (the one in the white top), recently did a post A Vlog: How to Vlog…or Something which is absolutely hilarious.

Today I happened to be over at my TwitterSister Eisley Jacob’s blog checking our her post on editing and revising. This is a topic which is always dear to my heart, since I spend so much of my time on a book in this phase.
I happened to run across this book last year at the Orange County Kids Book Festival. As a girl, I loved ghost stories, and the premise for the book intrigued me, and I knew I had to give it a read.

I want to start by saying I find the banning of books abhorrent in every way. Along with so many others, this is a post I never thought I’d write.
This morning I had the opportunity to appear on the Author Spotlight segment of The Chris Treece Show. What a blast!! The topic of the show was Nowhere Feels Like Home, the second book in the Misfit McCabe series.
