I usually don’t complain about much (except for when Mama gets an idea to put a hat on my head), I go amiably along with what my family is doing. I even wrestle with Elsa from time to time to keep her happy.
Yesterday I hit the one monthiversary milestone after surgery. Things have gone relatively well, with only a couple of setbacks, none of which are actually due to the surgery itself. How has the first month gone?
The day had come. Time for the surgery itself. In to the hospital at 0500 because my surgery time had been moved from 1030 to 0730, so we were up at 0330. I had my stuff ready to pack, so the morning went smoothly and we were there on time.

I’m jumping ahead a bit in my weight loss journey to current day. I’ve been trying to catch up to current and I’m almost there, but I am too excited to wait to share this information. I’ll be point blank honest. I hate taking pills.
There are days I feel like I was born to procrastinate. I can be very good at it if I want to be. Anything and everything can serve as a distraction for the work I should be doing.
To the uninitiated, writing books for children is easy. You put a few words on the page and add some pictures. How hard can that be?
I contacted my pre-op coordinator and got the remainder of my required steps scheduled, and it turned out that I could fulfill them all during the course of one day.
