Once I got over the shock of finding myself having joined the over 9 million adult Americans who are morbidly obese, I began to try and figure out how I got into this state.
We go through our lives, day after day, just trying to keep up with life in general, and sometimes things tend to slide right on by without our notice. Well, not really without notice, but all of a sudden we find ourselves in a position where we turn around and try to figure out how we got here.
I’ve been thinking about chronicling my journey of weight loss and the paths I have taken and why, so the information may help someone else who is facing the same decisions that I have faced.
When making the decision to re-release Misfit McCabe, I knew that a cover change was in order.
Crosswords, acrostics, logic problems, word search, all of these were a big part of my youth. I could spend hours with a puzzle book figuring out the answers and filling them in. Sudoku had not yet come into vogue, or I’m sure I would have spent many a pleasurable hour working on those as well. With More Kindergarten Sudoku: 4×4 Classic Sudoku Puzzles for Kids I got my first taste of Sudoku and was able to enjoy for the first time what has become all the rage in puzzle books. For the other Sudoku novices in the audience who have been wondering what this is but afraid to try and learn the rules, fear no more. The classic Sudoku 4×4 has only three rules.

Hi ~ Thanks for taking the time to stop by. I’m author LK Gardner-Griffie and I write novels for young adults. On this site you’ll find information about my books, reviews of my books, reviews I’ve written, information on writing directed toward young writers, videos, and other things about our life.
Although I normally stick to reviews of books only, in this instance I had to branch out because to talk about the book without giving a mention to the bear would simply be a disservice to the concept. In fact, I’m even going to say a few words about the packaging. As most parents know to their chagrin, most items for children come in packages that by the time you open them, the box is destroyed due to tape and twist-ties galore. I realize that the intent is to keep the product safe, but sometimes I think a masters degree in opening packages is required to figure out how to take the item out of the package, and all the while your child is cycling toward complete meltdown because they can’t have the item NOW!

This morning, we await to see whether the Titans will complete the sweep of the Cal Poly Mustangs or whether the Mustangs will put together enough runs to down the Titans. The real question, will freshman hurler, Tyler Pill, give my friend Kelly a win for mother’s day? Need I say, I really want Tyler to get the win? Anyway, let’s take a look back at how we reached this point.

I could relate well to this video today – especially the part where she’s on the floor.
