Linda Welch has recently updated her original cover to the one you see pictured above. I have included the original cover to the left. While the first cover does show a clue involved in the mystery within, it didn't necessarily represent the book correctly for the mystery genre. The update to the cover has definitely improved the face of the book and will invite more readers to take a peek between the covers. This is an example of how authors sometimes go through several covers before deciding on what they feel is the best fit for their book. In the traditional publishing arena, most of those changes occur outside the view of the public, but for the independent author it may take getting some public reaction to our offering, so we may make some changes based on feedback received.
