I am very happy to say the Jon Wilhite came through the surgery yesterday well. From a Titan Central post:

Surgery went very well!!!! Our surgeon took great care of him and was able to fuse his spine and said that it went as good as it could. We were able to find out the good news and then celebrate with 60 people in the hallways. Thanks UCI for all you’ve done for my brother and it’ll be a long road to recovery but we’ll make sure he gets as well as he can!There is a undoubtedly a long road ahead, but with each new day and that’s all we can hope and pray for at this point. God Bless the Adenhart, Stewart, Pearson, & Wilhite families.
My heart rejoices to hear such good news, and I will continue to send good thoughts and prayers his way. The successful surgery is but one step on his road to recovery.
